Kajang is a town situated in the Hulu Langat District of Selangor, Malaysia. Located southeast of Kuala Lumpur, the town sits on the eastern banks of the Langat River. It serves as a significant local hub surrounded by several other areas, including Cheras, Semenyih, Bangi, Putrajaya, and Seri Kembangan (Serdang).
The town, along with much of the Hulu Langat District, falls under the jurisdiction of the Kajang Municipal Council. It functions as a key administrative and residential area within the Selangor state.
