Tatau

Tatau is a town located in the Bintulu Division of Sarawak, Malaysia. It serves as the capital of the Tatau District, which was officially established as a district in 1987. Prior to this designation, the area functioned as a sub-district under the jurisdiction of the Bintulu District.

As of the 2020 census, the reported total population for the town of Tatau was 31,920. The primary languages spoken by the local population include Iban, Kenyah, Beketan, and Punan.
