Selangau is a small town located in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. It serves as the administrative center for the Selangau District and is situated along the Pan Borneo Highway.

The town is positioned near the Batang Mukah river, which flows into the South China Sea. Geographically, it lies approximately 74 km from Sibu city, 84 km from Mukah town, and 134 km from Bintulu town.
