Limbang is a border town situated in northern Sarawak, East Malaysia, on the island of Borneo. It serves as the capital of the Limbang District within the Limbang Division. The district covers an area of approximately 3,978.10 square kilometres and has a recorded population of 56,900.
The town is geographically positioned on the banks of the Limbang River. It occupies a strategic location situated between the two halves of Brunei.
