Daro is a town located in the Daro District within the Mukah Division of Sarawak, Malaysia. It serves as the eponymous center of its district and is situated near the neighboring town of Matu. The area is governed by the Majlis Daerah Matu-Daro, which acts as the local authority for both the Daro and Matu districts.
As of 2024, the population of Daro was recorded at 26,427, with Malay and Melanau people constituting the majority of the inhabitants. Historically, the town was accessible from Sibu via ferries that traveled approximately two hours along the channel of the Rejang River.
