Bayan Lepas is a suburb of George Town located in the Malaysian state of Penang. It is situated near the southeastern tip of Penang Island, approximately 15 km (9.3 mi) south of the city centre.
The area is notable for hosting the Penang International Airport, which ranks as the third busiest airport in Malaysia. Additionally, Bayan Lepas contains one of the country's oldest free industrial zones.
