Selama is a town located in the Larut, Matang and Selama District of Perak, Malaysia. It is one of several notable towns within this region, which also includes locations such as Taiping, Changkat Jering, Terong, Matang, and Kuala Sepetang.
The district was formed by merging three previously separate districts: Larut, Matang, and Selama. The area is bordered by the state of Kedah to the north, the Kerian District to the northwest, the Hulu Perak and Kuala Kangsar Districts to the east, and the Manjung District to the south.
