Mentakab is a town, mukim (commune), and state assembly constituency located in the Temerloh District of central Pahang, Malaysia. It serves as a local administrative and residential area within the region.
The town is situated approximately 9 km northwest of downtown Temerloh and lies about 82 km northeast of Kuala Lumpur. Its geographical position places it within the interior of the Pahang state.
