Pasir Puteh is a town and district located in the state of Kelantan, Malaysia. The town itself is situated on the bank of the Semerak River, positioned approximately 30 kilometers south of the state capital, Kota Bharu.
Geographically, the Pasir Puteh district lies between the districts of Machang and Besut. It shares a border with the Besut District in Terengganu to its southeast.
