Pokok Sena is a district and parliamentary constituency located in the state of Kedah, Malaysia. Situated approximately 20 km east of the state capital, Alor Setar, it was formerly a subdistrict of Kota Setar. The district officially covers an area of 24,000 hectares and falls within the boundaries of the Alor Setar City Council local government authority.
The district was declared by the Sultan of Kedah, Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, in January 2009 during his 81st birthday celebrations. It has a population of approximately 50,000 people and is divided into six sub-districts: Gajah Mati, Jabi, Tualang, Lesong, Bukit Lada, and Derang. The region further consists of 122 villages and 21 residential areas.
