Pengerang is a municipality located in the Kota Tinggi District within the Malaysian state of Johor. The area was officially established as a municipality in 2017.
The region is primarily known for hosting the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC). This facility serves as the largest petrochemical complex in Malaysia and stands as one of the major petrochemical hubs globally.
