Chitipa, also known as Fort Hill, is a city located in the northern region of Malawi. It serves as the capital of the Chitipa District.
The town is situated in close proximity to the tri-point border where Malawi meets Zambia and Tanzania. It is notably characterized by the diverse number of languages spoken within the area.
