Trou aux Biches

Trou-aux-Biches is a small town located on the northern coast of Mauritius within the district of Pamplemousses. It is primarily known for its public beach, which is recognized as one of the most beautiful locations on the island. The beach received international recognition when it was named the World's Leading Beach Destination at the World Travel Award in 2011.

The area serves as a significant tourism hub, featuring numerous boutique hotels and resorts, including the Trou aux Biches Resort & Spa. It is accessible from Port Louis via the M2 highway, situated approximately one mile west of the highway's end. Additionally, the town is connected to the airport by a public bus service.
