Saint Hubert is a city located in Mauritius. It serves as a geographical location within the island nation.
While the name shares a namesake with Saint Hubert of Liège, the saint was a Christian figure who became the first bishop of Liège in 708 A.D. He is recognized as the patron saint of hunters, mathematicians, opticians, and metalworkers. Historically known as the "Apostle of the Ardennes," he was also traditionally invoked until the early 20th century to cure rabies using Saint Hubert's Key.
