Saint Lucia is an island country located in the eastern and southern Caribbean. It is part of the Windward Islands within the Lesser Antilles, situated north/northeast of Saint Vincent, northwest of Barbados, and south of Martinique.
The nation covers a land area of 617 km2 (238 sq mi) and has an officially estimated population of over 184,100 people as of mid-2023. Its capital and largest city is Castries.
