Malta

Luqa is a town situated in the Southern Region of Malta, located approximately 4.3 km from the capital city of Valletta. It is characterized as a small but densely populated settlement, reflecting the typical layout and density found in many of Malta's older towns and villages.

The town is centered around a main square that houses a church dedicated to St. Andrew. The patron saint's traditional feast occurs on the first Sunday of July, while the liturgical feast is observed on November 30. Additionally, Luqa serves as the location for the Malta International Airport.
