Zouérat is a city located in northern Mauritania and serves as the capital of the Tiris Zemmour region. As of 2023, it has an approximate population of 62,380 people.
The town is situated at the eastern terminus of the Mauritania Railway, which connects the city to Nouadhibou. It stands as the largest town in the northern portion of the country.
