Le Lamentin is a city and town located in the French overseas department and region of Martinique. Covering an area of 62.32 km², it holds the distinction of being the largest town by land area in the territory.
With a population of nearly 40,000 inhabitants, Le Lamentin is the second most populated town in Martinique, following Fort-de-France. It serves as the island's primary industrial hub and is considered the heart of its economy.
