Avarga, also spelled Abharga, is a historical steppe region located in present-day Khentii Province, Mongolia. It is situated at the confluence of the Kherlen and Tsenker rivers.
The site is historically significant as the location of the first nomadic capital of the Mongol Empire. This capital was established after Genghis Khan seized the territory from the Jurkin clan.
