Pyinmana is a logging town and sugarcane refinery center located in the Naypyidaw Union Territory of Myanmar. It serves as a significant regional hub for these industries within the country.
The city is notable for its proximity to the national capital, which was officially moved to a militarized greenfield site just two miles (3.2 km) west of Pyinmana on November 6, 2005. As of 2014, the urban population of the city was recorded at 72,010.
