Dawei

Dawei, formerly known as Tavoy, is a city located in south-eastern Myanmar. It serves as the capital of the Tanintharyi Region, which was previously referred to as the Tenasserim Division. The city is situated on the eastern bank of the Dawei River.

Geographically, Dawei is positioned approximately 614.3 km (381.7 mi) southeast of Yangon. As of recent data, the city has a population of 125,605 residents.
