Taunggyi

Taunggyi is the capital and largest city of Shan State in Myanmar. It serves as the administrative seat of Southern Shan State and is situated on the eastern mountains of the country at an elevation of 4,712 feet above sea level.

The city is characterized by its pleasant and cool climate. Notably, Taunggyi is built directly along mountain ridges rather than on the valley floor, distinguishing it from many other urban areas in the region.
