Pekon is a town located in the far southern region of Shan State in eastern Myanmar. Situated on the shores of the Mobye Reservoir, it lies near the border with Kayah State.
The town serves as the administrative seat of Pekon Township within the Kalaw District. It is geographically organized into seven wards.
