Pangkham is a border town located in the far eastern region of Myanmar's Shan State. Formerly known as Panghsang until 1999, it serves as the primary town of Pangsang Township within the Matman District.
The town is situated at a bend along the Hka River, positioned directly opposite the Chinese town of Menglian in Yunnan Province. Its location serves as a significant point on the border between Myanmar and China.
