Muse is the capital of Mu Se District and the principal town of Mu Se Township located in northern Shan State, Myanmar. Situated along the Shweli River, it serves as a significant border town connecting Myanmar with China.
The town is linked to Ruili in Yunnan Province, China, via a bridge. It functions as a major regional trade hub, facilitating approximately 70% of all cross-border trade between Myanmar and China.
