Aungban is a major trading town located in the southern Shan State of Myanmar. It serves as a significant hub for agricultural production, supplying yields to various regions throughout the country.
The town is situated within Kalaw Township, which is part of the Kalaw District. Geographically, it lies along the Thazi-Kyaingtong road at an elevation of 4,219 feet (1,286 meters) above sea level.
