Payathonzu is a town located in the Karen State of southern Myanmar. It serves as the administrative seat of the Hpayarthonezu Sub-township within the Kyain Seikgyi Township, situated in the Kawkareik District.
The town is positioned near the border with Thailand and is separated from the Thai border township of Nong Lu by the Three Pagodas Pass.
