Zalun is a town located in the Hinthada District of the Ayeyawady Region in Myanmar. It serves as the principal town of Zalun Township and is situated on the west bank of the Irrawaddy River.
The town is subdivided into five distinct wards. The main urban area is concentrated within north Lammadaw ward and Nyaunbin Zay ward, while Santan and South Lammadaw constitute the other populated residential areas. Kanna Ward stretches along the riverbank and is primarily designated for industrial, commercial, and warehousing uses.
