Hakha is the capital city of Chin State in Myanmar (Burma). It serves as the largest urban area within the state and is situated in the northeastern region of the province within Hakha Township.
The city is located on a plateau at an elevation of more than 1,867 metres (6,125 ft) above sea level. Covering a total area of approximately 12.50 square miles (32.4 km2), the city was divided into six wards as of the 2014 Myanmar census, with a recorded population of 24,926.
