Kyauktaw

Kyauktaw is a town located in northern Rakhine State, situated in the westernmost region of Myanmar. It serves as a notable geographical point within the country's western territory.

The area is historically significant for its association with the old city of Dhanyawadi. This site was originally home to the famous Mahamuni Buddha image, which has since been moved to Amarapura.
