Dialakorodji is a town and small commune located in the Cercle of Kati within the Koulikoro Region of south-western Mali. While it is officially classified as a rural commune, the area has transitioned into a northern suburb of Bamako, the capital city of Mali.
The region is characterized by rapid population growth. According to census data, the population rose from 12,938 in 2008 to 47,740 by 2009, representing an annual growth rate of 12%.
