Banamba

Mali

Banamba is a city located in Mali and serves as the capital of the Banamba Cercle. This administrative area is one of the seven Cercles within the Koulikoro Region. As of 2008, the town had an estimated population of 7,000 residents.

Geographically, Banamba is situated due north of the regional capital, Koulikoro. It is accessible via a 40 km all-weather road that connects the two locations through the town of Sirakorola, which lies approximately halfway between them. The town is also home to the Lycée Franco-Arabe de Banamba.
