Kumanovo is a city located in North Macedonia. It serves as the seat of Kumanovo Municipality, which is the largest municipality in the country. It is the second-largest city in the nation, following the capital, Skopje.
The city sits at an elevation of 340 metres above sea level and is geographically defined by several mountain ranges. It is surrounded by the Karadag part of Skopska Crna Gora mountain to the west, Gradištanska mountain to the south, and Mangovica and German mountains to the east. Additionally, Kumanovo is served by the Skopje Airport.
