Kruševo is a town located in the western part of North Macedonia. It serves as the seat of the Kruševo Municipality and is situated at an altitude of over 1,350 metres (4,430 ft) above sea level. This elevation makes it the highest town in the country and one of the highest in the Balkans.
The name Kruševo translates to "the place of pear trees" in Macedonian. The town overlooks the Pelagonia region and is located approximately 33 kilometres (21 mi) from the city of Prilep and 53 kilometres (33 mi) from Bitola.
