Kičevo is a city located in the western part of North Macedonia. It is situated in a valley within the south-eastern slopes of Mount Bistra, positioned between the cities of Ohrid and Gostivar. The capital city, Skopje, is approximately 112 km away from Kičevo.
The city serves as the administrative seat of the Kičevo Municipality.
