Ampanihy, also known as Ampanihy Ouest, is a town located in the Atsimo-Andrefana Region of Madagascar. It serves as a local hub within the southwestern portion of the island.
The town is characterized by its transportation infrastructure, as it is crossed by Route Nationale 10. Additionally, Ampanihy is home to the Ampanihy Airport.
