Antsirabe, also known as Ville d'eau, is the third-largest city in Madagascar. It serves as the capital of the Vakinankaratra region and had a recorded population of 265,018 in 2014.
The city is characterized by its relatively cool climate and its industrial activity. It is notable for having a high concentration of pulled rickshaws, known as pousse-pousses, and it attracts approximately 30,000 tourists annually.
