Tivat is a town situated in the coastal region of Montenegro. It is located within the Bay of Kotor and serves as the administrative center of the Tivat Municipality.
The Tivat Municipality is notable for being the smallest municipality in Montenegro by land area. As of 2011, the population of the town was recorded at 9,367 residents.
