Inezgane

Morocco

Inezgane is a city located on the Atlantic Ocean coast of Morocco. It serves as the capital of the Inezgane-Aït Melloul Prefecture and is situated on the north bank of the Sous River, approximately 11.5 km (7.1 mi) south of Agadir.

The city functions as a significant transport hub in the Souss-Massa region due to its location at the intersection of the N1, N8, and N10 highways. While it shares some characteristics with the nearby larger city of Agadir, Inezgane is described as a typical Moroccan city rather than a tourism-centered destination. The record for the highest temperature in the area is disputed, with figures reaching up to 51.7 °C (125.1 °F).
