Aoufous is a town located in the Errachidia Province of the Drâa-Tafilalet region in Morocco. According to data from the 2004 census, the town has a population of 1,272 residents.
The area is notable for its proximity to the Aoufous Formation. This geological site contains dinosaur fossils dating back to the Cenomanian epoch of the Late Cretaceous period.
