Alnif is a town located in the Tinghir Province of the Drâa-Tafilalet region in southeastern Morocco. Situated approximately 180 kilometers east of Ouarzazate and 1,020 kilometers south of Rabat, it lies along the N12 highway which connects the towns of Tinejdad and Taouz.
The town is primarily recognized for its significant paleontological discoveries. According to the 2014 census, Alnif has a population of 3,770 residents.
