Bzou is a town located in the northwest corner of Morocco’s Azilal Province. It is situated just off the primary road connecting the major cities of Beni-Mellal and Marrakesh.
The sprawling commune consists of various Berber and Arabic-speaking douwars, which are small hamlets nestled into the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. The heart of Bzou is formed by a main cluster of Arabic-speaking douwars, while smaller Berber douwars are situated in the surrounding mountains and along the banks of the river Oued el Abid.
