Temara is a coastal city located in Morocco within the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region. Situated on the Atlantic coast directly south of the capital city, it serves as the seat of the Skhirate-Témara Prefecture and is situated in the metropolitan suburban area.
As of 2014, the city had a population of 313,510 inhabitants. Temara features beaches and a small pleasure port, and it maintains a twinning agreement with Saint Germain en Laye, France.
