Kenitra is a city located in northwestern Morocco. It serves as a port on the Sebou River and functions as the capital of the Kénitra Province. As of 2024, the city has a population of 507,736.
The city is one of the three primary urban centers within the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region. Historically, the area was significant during the Cold War as the site of the US Naval Air Station Port Lyautey, which served as a stopping point in North Africa.
