Tétouan is a city located in northern Morocco. It is situated along the Martil Valley and serves as one of the two major ports of Morocco on the Mediterranean Sea, positioned just a few miles south of the Strait of Gibraltar.
The city is located approximately 60 kilometres (37 mi) east-southeast of Tangier and is part of the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima administrative division. As of 2024, Tétouan has an estimated population of 469,465 inhabitants.
