Tarhuna, also referred to as Tarhoona or Tarhunah, is a village located in the Murqub District of Libya. It is situated approximately 65 kilometres (40 mi) to the southeast of the capital city, Tripoli.
The broader Tarhuna District, which includes the city of Msallata, recorded an urban population of about 296,000. The specific population for the village of Tarhuna proper was calculated to be 13,264 in 2011.
