Vianden is a commune with city status located in north-eastern Luxembourg. It serves as the seat of the canton of Vianden and has a population of 2,221 as of 2025.
The city is situated along the Our river near the border with Germany. Notably, it is the only location where the border between these two countries is not defined by the river itself.
Vianden is primarily known for its historic Vianden Castle.
