Mertert is a commune and town located in eastern Luxembourg, situated along the border with Germany. It is part of the canton of Grevenmacher.
The commune consists of the towns of Mertert and Wasserbillig, which serves as the administrative centre for the area. A notable feature of the region is its river port on the Moselle, which is the largest such port in Luxembourg.
