Grevenmacher is a commune with city status located in eastern Luxembourg, situated near the border with Germany. It serves as the namesake for the canton of Grevenmacher and, until its abolition in 2015, was also the name of the district of Grevenmacher.
The town is positioned on the left bank of the river Moselle. It is notably situated within a wine-growing region, which characterizes the local landscape and economy.
