Beruwala is a large town situated in the Kalutara District of the Western Province in Sri Lanka. It is governed by an Urban Council and covers a total land area of approximately 15 km2 (5.8 sq mi).
The town is located on the south-west coast of the island, positioned roughly 60 km (37 mi) south of the capital city, Colombo.
